Iran’s President openly talks about wiping Israel off the map. The Iranian nuclear program is a threat, not just to my country, but to the entire region. And it’s incumbent upon us all to do what needs to be done to keep from proliferating.

He called for the destruction of our country, of another UN member, and we don't believe the international community can let this stand. We've raised the issue with the secretary general and at the Security Council.

If it acts outside international norms, if it acts outside accepted international behavior, then it can't be surprised if the international community starts to treat it like a pariah.
